Travis Maxwell
I'm a journalist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 2023, I graduated with First-Class honours in Broadcast Journalism from Northumbria University. In 2024, I completed a Master's degree in Media and Broadcast Production from Queen's University Belfast, achieving Second-Class honours.
My academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in broadcast journalism, videography, sound design, editing, and media law and ethics in the UK. Alongside my studies, I have gained practical experience in video and written journalism.

I worked in a newsroom, fulfilling roles ranging from presenter to floor manager to vision mixer, and I volunteered as a sub-editor for Impress magazine at Belfast Met. I would also volunteer as a presenter for the Girdwood Community Hub opening, as a camera operator for the Wear n' Share event, and as a class representative. Showcasing my eagerness to learn and develop.
Beyond education, I was a List Writer for Game Rant, where I pitched and authored SEO-optimised articles, captured and edited images, and ensured quality. I have also worked at The Female CEO (Create Evolve Overcome), where I created videos, social media posts, filmed interviews, wrote and edited articles, and conducted market research.

I have a passion for storytelling, and I like to pursue stories that inform the public, educate, and resonate with audiences.
